Israeli yeshivas in Jerusalem

A hesder yeshiva in Jerusalem's Kiryat Moshe neighborhood, established in 1995 at the direction of former Chief Rabbi Mordechai Eliyahu, founded by Rabbi Shmuel Zafrani and Dr. Yaakov Hadani, offering a unique track that combines yeshiva study with academic studies leading to accreditation. About 80 students study there.

A historic Litvish yeshiva founded in 1939, the first mainstream Haredi yeshiva to teach in Hebrew rather than Yiddish, long associated with Rav Shlomo Zalman Auerbach; Israeli/Haredi students only, no overseas program.

Our students acquire the skills, confidence, and character to continue growing in Torah long after they leave the beit midrash, while developing a deep commitment to Eretz Yisrael, Medinat Yisrael, and the responsibility every Jew shares for the future of Klal Yisrael. As a Hesder yeshiva, Lev HaTorah offers students the opportunity to continue their growth through advanced years of Torah learning or to combine their learning with meaningful service in the IDF. Through our Lev LaChayal program, students who enlist receive ongoing guidance, advocacy, and personal support, with the yeshiva serving as a home and family for lone soldiers throughout their service.

A Religious Zionist yeshiva overlooking the Western Wall that provides a broad and serious array of English learning options while enabling students to integrate with Hakotel's Israeli program and student body; offers joint credit with Yeshiva University and Touro as well as the option to join the Machal-hesder program and draft with Hakotel Israelis as well as many like-minded foreigners. The yeshiva has a warm environment where Rebbeim and older students offer mentorship younger students as they work to build a life of meaning whether in Israel of back in the US.
