Israel's national marine research and teaching facility on the Red Sea runs about 20 intensive undergraduate and graduate courses a year, each 1-2 weeks long, combining sailing, snorkeling and diving fieldwork with labs, lectures, and seminars; open to students from any university, with dormitory housing on-site.

A thesis-track, English-taught MSc in marine biology combining coursework, research cruises, and dive-based fieldwork studying the Mediterranean Sea; Israeli and international students study together over two academic years.
