A higher/hesder yeshiva in Dimona established roughly 12 years ago, led by Rabbi David Torjeman, taking responsibility for Torah leadership in the city. Encourages enlistment in combat roles within the hesder track as well as special forces and reconnaissance units; the hesder track runs 17 months of service.
