An official Israeli government program placing overseas volunteers from 51+ countries into welfare settings (group homes, day centers, nursing homes) to support people with disabilities, at-risk youth, Holocaust survivors, and the elderly.

Who it's for

For volunteers who want to support Israel's most vulnerable — people with disabilities, at-risk youth, survivors, and the elderly — in welfare settings.

Duration: Custom — 6-12 months, 35 hours/week
Cost: Accommodation, stipend, meals, insurance, and Hebrew classes provided; volunteers cover their own flight
How to sign up: Apply online; must be 18+, have conversational English, a clean criminal record, and 2 recommendations.
