Bnei David is a Religious Zionist organization that operates across multiple campuses, including Yeshivot, mechinot, and Midrashot. It is most famously known for its mechina located in Eli and its midrasha, Danieli, located in Kfar Tapuach, which completely revolutionized how the national-religious community approaches army preparation and national service. The core ideology behind Bnei David is based on HaRav Kook’s teachings, which emphasize that the building of the State of Israel is a fundamental part of the redemption process, meaning that learning Torah and actively contributing to the country are deeply connected. While Bnei David doesn't have a separate, designated program for overseas students, every year multiple students from outside of Israel come to learn here, automatically integrating into the standard Israeli programs alongside their peers. At Bnei David, learning Torah isn't separated from real-world action; instead, it serves as the spiritual foundation that prepares students for the challenges ahead. The institution strongly pushes its students to go as far as possible in the army—whether that means joining elite combat units or becoming officers and commanders. But the impact doesn't stop in the IDF; the ultimate goal is to give students the values, resilience, and tools they need for life.
